The Tribal Council shall enact an election ordinance consistent with the provisions of this constitution. The ordinance shall include creation of a three member Election Board, who shall be appointed by the Tribal Council, whose members shall serve for a four-year period and who shall be removable prior to the expiration of their term only for cause. The Election Board shall supervise all tribal elections pursuant to this constitution, and perform other duties as set out in the election ordinance. Election board members must be eligible to vote in tribal elections in order to serve on the Board. No Board member may run for Tribal Council while serving as an Election Board member or shall hold office while serving.
