11.60.020 Eligibility Requirements.

An applicant must meet all of the following requirements in order to be considered for higher education assistance through this program. The student:

(1) Must be a Samish citizen;

(2) Must be a GED or high school graduate (exception for Running Start students pursuing AA);

(3) Must have been accepted to an accredited institution in the United States or Canada;

(4) Must submit a completed Samish Nation higher education assistance application online;

(5) Must be pursuing vocational education, a certificate for professional development or an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree;

(6) Must maintain a satisfactory academic standing with a current term grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 at the end of each academic term. [Res. 2021-12-032 § 1, 2021; Res. 2021-03-014, 2021.]
