(1) All deadlines apply to complete applications with all required materials only.

(2) New Applications.

(a) Students should plan application timing based on when they will receive a decision and well before their program’s financial deadlines occur.

(b) We recommend that new students applying for:

(i) Fall quarter or semester should apply by July 1st;

(ii) Winter quarter/spring semester should apply by November 1st;

(iii) Spring quarter term by January 1st.

(c) Because funding may be limited, applicants will receive notification of application status as soon as it is determined. Reviewed applications will be placed in one of the following categories:

(i) Fully funded;

(ii) Partially funded (award based on remaining funding);

(iii) Waitlisted.

(d) Award check distributions may take up to three weeks after approval.

(e) Waitlisted applicants may elect to remain in applicant pool for the next deadline; student must notify program staff of intent to remain on waitlist when they receive their notification.

(f) Waitlist Procedure. New applications are ranked based on the date they are received complete and held waitlisted in that order.

(3) Active Continuing Students.

(a) Students must submit an online form for the next term that includes registration with number of credits for renewal as soon as they are available.

(b) Grades for completed term must be submitted as soon as available to provide proof of 2.0 current GPA for continued eligibility. Funding for future terms may be held until grades are received.

(c) Award distribution may take up to three weeks after complete online forms have been received and approved.

(d) Because funds are limited, renewing students must submit their materials in a timely manner. Delayed submission of renewal materials risks having term funding released to students on the waitlist and student being designated “inactive.”

(e) Funding for students from schools with regular academic calendars will be released to the waitlist if prior arrangement is not on file with program staff as of:

(i) Fall semester/quarter: October 1st;

(ii) Winter quarter/spring semester: February 1st;

(iii) Spring quarter: May 1st.

(f) Students attending programs with irregular academic calendars must have a renewal schedule approved by program staff. [Res. 2021-12-032 § 1, 2021; Res. 2021-03-014, 2021.]
