(1) Merchant cards shall be obtained only by the Finance Department upon approval by the Controller. The Finance Department shall establish procedures for the use of merchant cards.

(2) Merchant cards shall be issued in the name of Samish Indian Nation.

(3) Merchant cards may be used for purchases and payment of services only from the vendor issuing the merchant card.

(4) Merchant card use must be in compliance with external regulations and Samish procurement procedures and policies. [Res. 2021-02-015 § 2 (Att. 1), 2021.]
