Nothing in this policy shall be construed to waive the sovereign immunity of the Samish Indian Nation, except as expressly set forth herein. In the event of a conflict between the provisions of this policy and the Samish Constitution, the Constitution will prevail. In the event any provision or language of this policy is found to be invalid or unconstitutional it is the intent of the Samish Tribal Council that the offending provision or language be severed from the remainder of the policy, and the remainder of the policy remains in effect.
