(1) When a position becomes vacant or a new position is created the Senior Human Resources Officer will develop a job announcement for the position based upon the approved job description. Vacancies and new positions will be posted in-house and published to the entire Tribal citizenship on the Tribe’s website for five working days in order to allow current full-time employees and Tribal citizens to apply for the position. The Tribe’s Indian Preference Policy shall apply to the selection process. At the same time the position will be advertised to the general public. Job announcements shall be posted in a consistent format.

(2) Vacancies shall be posted on the Tribe’s webpage and may be advertised using the following resources:

(a) Local and regional newspapers.

(b) Other tribes and Native American organizations and publications.

(c) Internet job posting or internet resume search engines.

(d) Professional publications and newsletters.

(e) Local Indian organizations, to schools, and to training institutes. [Res. 2022-10-016 § 1, 2022. Formerly 5-03-007.]
