(1) Application. An applicant must submit a current and complete Tribal employment application including cover letter, resume, job application and references to be considered for the position with the Tribe. Job application forms may be obtained from the Tribal Administration’s Office or downloaded from the Tribal webpage.

(2) Application Packet for Each Job Position. An applicant shall be required to submit a separate completed job application form, cover letter, resume and references for each position applied for. Applications packet shall remain on file with the Human Resources Department for six months after it was received. If the position becomes vacant within the six-month period and the applicant meets the minimum requirements for the position, the applicant will be contacted in writing by the Senior Human Resources Officer and asked whether they wish to be reconsidered for the position. If they wish to be reconsidered for the position, they will be asked to review and update their application packet.

(3) Required Showing. Applicants must submit a complete application packet which demonstrates that they meet the minimum qualifications for the position, and submit any required supplementary material required by the job announcement to be considered for an interview for the position.

(4) Deadline for Applying. Job applications packets must be received at the Tribe’s Administrative Office by the deadline set forth in the job announcement. Applications received after the deadline date will not be considered.

(5) Readvertising. If none of the applicants for a given position meet the minimum job qualifications, or there is not a sufficient applicant pool, the position may be readvertised. [Res. 2022-10-016 § 1, 2022. Formerly 5-03-008.]
