5-03-009 Interviews
(1) Interviews to Be Conducted by Tribal Council.
(a) The Tribal Council will conduct interviews for the position of Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer and make the decision for such positions. The Tribal Council shall also be responsible for interviewing and hiring those persons who will provide services directly to the Tribal Council including the Tribal attorney, consultants and independent contractors and also supervising their work on behalf of the Tribe, unless otherwise delegated.
(2) The Interview Committee. The Interview Committee, which is described in STP 5-03-001, shall conduct all employee interviews except for the positions noted in subsection (3) of this section.
(3) Conflict of Interest. No person shall be eligible to participate in the hiring process that is a member of the immediate family of the person being interviewed. [Res. 2022-10-016 § 1, 2022. Formerly 5-03-010.]
