(1) After all qualified applicants have been interviewed, the Interview Committee shall review all relevant material including references and make a recommendation to the appropriate Chief Executive Team member for hire. In determining the final selection, the Interview Committee should evaluate and rank each applicant on the following basis:

(a) The extent to which the applicant’s listed job experience and abilities are related to the position, and have been verified;

(b) The applicant’s work record, with particular emphasis on the applicant’s stability, dependability, initiative, and potential for growth and advancement; and

(c) The applicant’s general conduct during the application and interview process, including the applicant’s ability to work with the Tribal Council, community, other Tribal employees and other agencies, and the applicant’s ability to meet the rules of conduct for all employees.

(2) After completing the review process and applying the Indian Preference Policy, the Interview Committee shall rank the candidates for employment and forward its recommendation and all materials regarding the applicants to the appropriate Chief Executive Team member.
