(1) A no-contact order may be used when the conduct of any person who receives services from the Samish Indian Nation:

(a) Threatens or endangers the mental health, physical health or safety of any Tribal employee; or

(b) Causes actual harm to a Tribal employee, including physical harm or threat of physical harm such as physical abuse, coercion, harassment and intimidations, whether physical, verbal (oral or written) or nonverbal.

(2) A no-contact order may also be imposed as a preventative measure in order to avoid or prevent the conduct prohibited under subsection (1) of this section.

(3) The conduct prohibited under subsection (1) of this section is not limited to conduct occurring on Tribal lands or properties. [Res. 2021-12-030 § 3, 2021.]
