The Samish Indian Nation wishes to establish a tribal seal and a tribal logo to be used as official symbols of the Tribal Government and tribal programs. The Tribe acknowledges that tribal members and tribal programs from time to time seek to use a logo or trademark that is recognized and associated with the Samish Indian Nation and its people. Pursuant to its authority of Council pursuant to Article III, Section 3 of the Tribal Constitution, the Council enacts the resolution codified in this chapter to establish the official seal of the Samish Indian Nation and to adopt a tribal logo for the Samish Indian Nation and its members.
