(1) Any tribal entity wishing to use a different logo than the Sla’hal must submit the proposed logo and a written request to the Tribal Council seeking approval of any such logo. “Tribal entity” includes Tribal Administration, tribal committees, tribal employees, tribal programs, or tribal enterprises.

(2) The written request must include a description or example of the proposed logo and an explanation of the proposed use including why a different logo is required.

(3) The Tribal Council will review the request and take any action on the request by Council resolution including approval of proposed use and any restrictions or limitations on the use of the proposed logo.

(4) Any logo approved by the Tribal Council under this provision is subject to any conditions or restrictions placed on its use by the Council in its authorizing resolution. Additionally, the use of the logo approved by the Council under this provision is subject to the provisions of this chapter not inconsistent with the conditions/restrictions placed on its use by the Council in its authorizing resolution.
