A Council member may be an ex officio member of each standing committee. In addition, if a committee is responsible for an area in which the Tribe provides services to individual members, the Tribal employee responsible for supervising the program that distributes or provides the services shall be an ex officio member of that particular committee and shall be required to attend all of the committee meetings. The Tribal Chair shall notify employee ex officio members in writing of their status as an ex officio member of a committee. Ex officio members shall have no voting rights on a committee.
