Appointments to standing committees shall be for two years, and the terms of the committee members shall be staggered. Appointments to committees shall be made at the first regularly scheduled Tribal Council meeting following the general election. The Tribal Chairman with the advice and consent of the Council shall make appointments. The Tribal Chair shall mail written notification of appointments to each committee member, with a copy of this chapter as an attachment. A majority of a quorum of the Tribal Council favoring an appointment shall constitute consent for purposes of this provision. [Res. 2023-10-012 § 2.412, 2023.]
